Cars Under 10k That Will Get You Laid*

Bold words. Impossible. This whole article must be a lie.
I don’t blame you for thinking any of those things. Getting a car that runs is difficult on a $10K budget – let alone something cool enough to catch eyes and break hearts.
Let me be clear, though: It is absolutely possible.
They say clothes make the man, and that’s true. Equally true: the car makes the man. The car you drive says a lot about your style, your success or lack thereof, and your attitude.
So, without further ado, here are three options that will give you the wow factor without making you eat Ramen noodles for the rest of your life.

2002 BMW Z3 Roadster: $5,600

No, that’s not a typo. This gorgeous roadster sells for roughly $5,600 at your average dealership. Here’s the thing: BMW makes some incredible, long-lasting machines. Any car from 2002 is going to have some miles on it, but this one is going to still run fine. Plus, just look at it. Its sleek design does not look the least bit dated and bears a strong resemblance to the brand new BMW Z4 (minus some angular body lines) – a vehicle that costs 10 times as much! If you roll up with in a fun, fast roadster that you know how to handle, your date will take notice.

1972 Opel GT Coupe: $8,600

If you’re thinking that it looks a hell of a lot like a Corvette C3, that’s because it was designed by one of the guys who worked for Chevrolet during the C3 era, Clare MacKichan. When you’re looking to get a cool car without spending a lot, vintage isn’t always the best way to go. Many of the classics go up in value over time and wind up being insanely expensive. There are, however, a few that fall through the cracks, and this Opel GT, despite it’s incredible styling, is one of them. Be warned, though – this isn’t the type of vehicle you’re going to want to drive every day. Replacement parts aren’t exactly easy to find. But, since you’re just breaking it out on Friday nights, it will certainly turn heads when you need it most.

2001 Porsche Boxster: $8,400

That’s right, gents. For less than $10,000, you can own your very own Porsche. It’s not just the brand name either. Take a look at that photo. Without knowing that it was a 2001, would you have guessed that it was that old? It looks virtually identical to the brand new Boxsters cruising around town. That’s one of the magnificent things about Porsche: Their designs are timeless. A 911 from the ‘80s looks a lot like one from the ‘90s, which looks pretty similar to the ones of today. They don’t drastically change body styles and thus announce to everyone that you’ve got the old, crappy model (looking at you, Mustang and Camaro). By the time your Porsche begins to show its age, it will be old enough to be considered vintage. You win either way!
Less than $10,000 for a Porsche. That’s right; you officially ran out of excuses.
So, there you have it – three sexy cars under $10,000. Think about that. These cars might cost less than what you’re currently driving. If that’s the case, then what are you doing? You could trade yours in for one of these and actually MAKE money. And that might be the coolest thing of all.
